RUNWAY: Tomas Maier SS15

Tomas Maier, of Bottega Veneta-fame, offers a laid back approach to dressing for SS15. Maier operates a shop in Miami and East Hampton, so it's with not much surprise that the collection is very beach-ready: light layers, a bit of transparency, and plenty of sex appeal. Light jackets were outfitted with swim shorts and a light knit while a pair of cuffed sweatpants looked familiar to a pair Maier designed for Bottega Veneta and are equally as desirable. This design, known for his utilitarian aesthetic, brought a cool, laid back aura to the collection, something we don't see often when Maier designs for the Kering-owned label.
