RUNWAY: Parke & Ronen SS15

Leave it to design duo Parke & Ronen to get tongues wagging on the first official day of New York Fashion Week. The label, known for their swimwear, showcased a sophisticated and sexy collection based on Dickie Greenleaf, from The Talented Mr. Ripley. The inspiration came to fruition in on-trend plastic frames paired with a lightweight and color blocked polo and floral shorts; other iterations came in patterned swimsuits, with tiny pockets that had little utility. There was, of course, plenty of skin (it is primarily a swimwear line after all!) to help show off these sexy and body conscious designs.
