RUNWAY: Francesca Liberatore SS15

Italian designer Francesca Liberatore won the distinction to show her collection during NYFW and she took the opportunity to offer a bit of commentary on wildlife and the pollution humans have introduced into the world that's causing many creatures to die off. For her men's offering, this idea was seen through prints of birds, like eagles, on shirts while the barefooted models had soot-colored feet to symbolize pollution while two pairs of yellow-ed feet looked quite hazardous. As for tailoring, bottoms offered clean lines, without too much volume while jackets were far more show-y with big and elongated lapels.
