RUNWAY: Mango SS15

Mango is a retailer first and foremost and it's this role that most likely influenced the design studio's choice to show a large selection of coats, like puffers with fur trim or a color blocked duffle coat. Spring/Summer clothes are delivered to stores around late January-early February; it's still quite cold in the northern hemisphere so new coats in stores are a great way to ring up sales. There was plenty to like in this sophisticated collection that targeted the sartorially inclined man with lots of well tailored jackets, streamlined silhouettes courtesy of slim cut bottoms and a host of footwear that seemed tailored for day to evening.
