RUNWAY: Dsquared2 SS15

Dean and Dan Caten took us back to school for their SS15 collection; art school to be exact. The collection didn't romanticize the idea of artsy boys drawing figures on a canvas, instead the youth oriented collection ramped up the sex factor while street inspired designs felt the strongest. Take the neon colored pieces like a rubbery skirt in magenta or neon green moto-jacket. Tailoring is still the twins' forte and that shined through on cropped pants and a beige trench with blue "tape" accents. While the collection was no doubt fun and carefree, the appliquée of cats on a knit was just the right about of cheeky.
