RUNWAY: Band of Outsiders FW14

Band of Outsiders, one of the purveyors of the hipster aesthetic, looks to 1950s England for inspiration for the upcoming Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Scott Sternberg noted an homage to newspapers, with cool vintage looking knits and page boy caps, with models looking ready to holler "Extra, extra!". Ombre shirts looked young and well executed, while a cropped leather and shearling toggle coat was exceptional. A hoody was paired with a suit that offered a relaxed fit and featured a one-button closure, which seems increasingly rare to see on the men's runways nowadays.
